The Shipment Status Report can be sent to your office each afternoon via fax or e-mail.  There is sample of this report below

The report includes the date of your order, shipment number, vehicle description, origin, destination, mileage, tariff, designated driver and comments regarding the transaction.  Our drivers are required to check in by noon each day, enabling us to provide you with an accurate status report as well as estimated time of arrival, changes in delivery, breakdowns, or delays when they happen. 

We have found this to be a valuable service to our customers.  The Shipment Status Report is to provided to save you time.  If we can customize this report to suit your needs please contact our office at (800) 340-3793 from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday.

NOTE: DRIVEAWAY USA, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

  1. Carrier is not responsible for damage caused by leaking fluids, battery acids, cooling system fluids, industrial fallout and acts of God.
  2. Carrier is not responsible for damage to a vehicle's mechanical system, exhaust system, alignment, and suspension or tuning of engine.
  3. Carrier shall be reimbursed for all normal and reasonable expenses incurred to repair a vehicle in shipment to road worthy condition.
  4. Carrier shall not be responsible for damage to a vehicle unable to move on its own power.
  5. Carrier shall not be responsible for the loss of any article left in a vehicle during shipment or for damages caused by any article left in the vehicle during shipment.
  6. Carrier will not be responsible for damage to a vehicle's windshield unless caused by the Carrier's gross negligence.
  7. All damages must be made/noted at the time of delivery of the vehicle or a claim for any such damage will not be honored.
  8. In all events, Carrier’s liability to Shipper, Consignee, owner or any agent of the foregoing shall not exceed the stated current market value of the vehicle at the time of the damage as published by the NADA.
  9. All claims subject to a $250.00 deductible.
  10. Carrier reserves the right to collect unpaid freight charges from the Shipper, Consignee, Owner and any Agent of the foregoing.
  11. Carrier is not responsible for damage to a vehicle more than eight (8) years old.
  12. Carrier reserves the right to transport a vehicle VIA another carrier when carrier cannot schedule shipment of a vehicle with its driver or equipment.
  13. All claims must be filed in writing with Driveaway USA, Inc., 1600 SW Market Street, Lee’s Summit, Missouri 64081, within five (5) days following delivery of the vehicle.
